Extended warranty is available for new vehicles and used vehicles:

When can you buy Extended Warranty?

New Vehicles

For new Chevrolet vehicles, you may purchase the extended warranty for new vehicles from the time of purchase up until 60,000 km (or just before the 3 year period has ended). You may purchase after that, but the extra cost of getting an inspection done will be required by the extended warranty company.

Certified Used Vehicles

Like new vehicles, you may purchase the extended warranty for a certified used vehicle up until 100,000 km OR before the certified warranty has expired (before 5,000 km or 3 months).

Used Vehicles

There are many different warranties offered for used vehicles, but there are caveats, and almost all of them differ. Please ask us for more information.

Questions you should ask when determining your extended warranty.

  • Is it a manufacturer extended warranty?
  • Is the extended warranty zero deductible?
  • What is the dollar limit per claim?
  • Is the warranty bumper to bumper or does it only cover specific systems?
  • How long does the warranty last?
  • What is the kilometre limit?
  • Does the warranty cover electrical systems?
  • Does the warranty cover air conditioning?
